Heart held fast

Our hearts are put in all the wrong places
Trying to find the place where it fits best
Throwing it around so recklessly
Comeing back to us, mangled
Searching for reform,
Something to restore
A life of suffering, not knowing where to go
Walking along, right into this love
The heart once tattered
Now fits right into your hands
Oblivious to the wonders
Fairy tale made real
Beating ever so fast
In the grasp of your hands
It calms
